Get your energy back! Good New Year Detox!

Hello ladies,

As my first issue, I thought I’d share a good “after the holidays diet” that my sister in-law, Alexandra * recommended. She is a nutritionist and always gives good tips and advices. In order to be at the top of your form and take good care of your family, you need to be fully energized. “After Xmas and New Year, it is essential to go back to a more balanced diet and smaller portions” says Alexandra.
Give it a try and you will feel empowered and ready to take up the year. I’ve tried it and I felt so much better afterwards. Hope you will too, Enjoy!
  • 30 minutes of exercise per day or 3h a week.
  • 3 to 4 cups of herbal tea per day (the best brand is La Royale www.la-royale.com. Either La Royal Digest or La Royal Anti-Acide) to alternate with mineral water
  • 1 fresh lemon juice mixed with lukewarm water and a few grains of cayenne pepper to start the day and around 4p.m if in need of energy.
  •  Eat a max of steamed winter vegetables (cabbages, turnips, pumpkins, endives…)
  • Try and switch animal proteins with leguminous plants (lentils, chickpeas, dried beans, peas). A minestrone is a perfect meal.
  • Fish 3 times a week. (sardines, herrings, ray, the richer fish in omega 3)
  • Soup for dinner is always a good idea
  • Try and choose good fresh products, organic if possible. It will help give your body what it needs to function.
  • Eat dissociated : animal protein + veggies (no rice, potatoes, bread, pasta, ….) cereal + veggies + leguminous plant (no meat, fish, cheese, milk or other dairies)
  • If you really like drinking bubbles…try and replace alcohol by sparkling water for at least 2 weeks….
