I found out these 2 web sites that are so useful!!!
The first one gives you an idea about what is appropriate for kids at different age in the media.
The second one is more about parenting in general. Any kind of question you could have, they have the answer. Their target is a new generation of parent (as they say).
I have both in my toolbar and often consult them. I hope it helps.
